“One evening a gentleman, having to make a stopover for the night, asks for hospitality at a castle. The master graciously welcomes him. When dinnertime comes, a woman with a shaved head dressed in black enters the great hall from behind the drapes, sits down at the end of the table, and begins to eat silently. Her beverage is served to her in a cup fashioned from a human skull whose eye sockets have been sealed with silver.”
