In the Great North, amidst the white, boundless silence, a shewolf with a cinnamon-red patch on her head and a long white stripe on her chest has found the ideal den to give birth to her cubs. Little did she know that one of these fur balls would soon become the most famous wolf of all time: White Fang. Luigi D’Elia and Francesco Niccolini return to the great forest, the place they love the most, to meet the wolves, who are just as much part of the forest as the shadows, moss, and oxygen. This production shows life through the eyes of a wolf, from the first glimpse of the world outside the den as a cub to the encounters with life, death, the night, and humans, including the strangest and most mysterious experience of all: an unfamiliar howl in the darkness. And there is no turning back from there. This is a story that bites. At times, it glides across the snow, at others, it snuggles up around the fire. A wild and passionate tribute to Jack London, the wolves, the Great North, and the world’s ancestral childhood, after ten years of depicting nature.
