As part of the Celebrations of 500 years since the death of Raffaello Sanzio.

A special thanks to Eugenio Allegri, for his friendly and invaluable contribution.

A winning and poetic tale about a great genius of humanity: Raffaello Sanzio. Considered a symbol of grace and perfection, the divine painter’s life not only bursts with pure art, but also happiness, eroticism, challenges, contradictions and even controversy with authority and the moral sense of the time. Matthias Martelli, accompanied by the live music of Maestro Castellan, recaptures the tradition of clownish theatre and narration, absorbing the spectator on this thrilling journey, bringing the characters to life, penetrating the masterpieces of Raffaello with images and words, discovering interesting facts, his loves, and immersing himself in the spirit of the time. A performance celebrating the life of a genius, while also aiming to respond to a present day need: now, more than ever before, focus in our country should be on a new Renaissance of art and culture.
