The Carlo Colla & Figli Company take on one of the most famous masterpieces, which is perhaps also one of the most difficult to perform with puppets. The “wooden actors” represent the work with a critical sense and the capacity to create illusions in a fantasy-filled world that will amaze spectators of all ages. With their different shapes and sizes, gestures and strong evocative potential, they will involve the audience in a sort of popular dance of soft but also bitter tonalities, expressing the poetical aspects arising from the novel, creating a tale between imagination and popular wisdom.
