The tones of the saxophone, the guitar, and percussion instruments, all of different “ages” and traditions, blend together in this fascinating sound journey revolving around evocative impressions of Latin American music.
From Villa-Lobos to Piazzolla through Ginastera, Gismonti, and Pascoal (with the inclusion of an exceptional guest, the American composer Chick Corea), this programme composes an anthology of the greatest composers from the south of the New World, from Cuba to Argentina.
